François Boveroux obtained his master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2016. He then obtained a master’s degree in Powertrain Engineering from the IFP School in 2017. In 2018 he started a PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel under the supervision of Professor Francesco Contino.
François Boveroux performs his PhD studies in the field vehicle emissions. His goal is to characterize more accurately and robustly the emissions from the road transport sector. The experimental part consists of measuring real-world emissions by performing Real Driving Emissions (RDE) tests using a Portable Emission Measurement Systems (PEMS). Afterwards, fleet emission models will be used considering uncertainties of their input and model parameters to have a more robust estimation of the road transport emissions.
